Flamingo Wyverns are so named for their resemblance to the tropical birds with whom they often share territory. Their most striking feature is the bony black crest over their faces and snouts, smaller in females, aiding both in digging up food and protection from attack. Females are noticeably brighter than males due to their habit of not straying far from particularly algae-rich feeding grounds.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
User Description
Kasyip is at once both horrendously aggressive and surprisingly gentle. Any intruders that draw near her nest soon regret it, the shrieking wyvern throwing herself on them with claw and fang, leaving more than a few wounds before the startled trespassers manage to run off. But towards the tiny children in her nest she's an affectionate and devoted mother; she can often be seen with the whole squeaky batch settled on her back as she roams about the marshes, instructing them on how to find the best feeding grounds and drive off predators.
