Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It seems to enjoy sunbathing.

And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

User Description

A happy young dragon, this male possesses his father's fascination with markings. Skin markings, painted markings, clawed-in-trees markings--he delights in them all, and is constantly roaming the forest in search of new ones to ogle over. While his father is proud that his son shares his interests, he also has to be on the alert in case his boy gets in mischief--such as he's doing right now. Examining that vine dragon's petal markings up close is not a good idea!
