Magi Dragons are, as their name suggests, primarily magic users. They rarely use physical forms of attack. They eat anything they can kill, which is almost everything. They won’t kill unprovoked except when hunting, although they may kill humans if in danger. Their strong magic makes them one of the most feared breeds of dragons.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

From the beginning of her training, Asani had known she was much more powerful than the others. She had felt her abilities churning inside her since birth. When word of her skills spread, her ego and greed grew outrageously.

She sought to gain more power, even resorting to the Dark Magics to do so. When the Elders of Maj'Kraa discovered her deceitful act, they gave her a warning and nothing more. For the time being, Asani halted her learning of the Dark Magics and began spying on human Wizards, attempting to mimic their ways. But when she realized she couldn't imitate what mere humans could do, a dangerous envy sprouted inside her. She returned to her Dark lessons and soon cursed the Wizards' village, bringing illness and despair to the inhabitants.

Having heard of her behavior, the Elders exiled the Magi immediately. Ever since then, Asani has lamented the day she even considered the Dark Arts, and shares her story to any student who dares wander the same path.
