Holiday dragons are a very mysterious breed. They are only seen during winter, and even then it is hard to catch a glimpse of one. They are responsible for the general cheer that spreads during the holidays. In essence, they are the “Spirits of Winter.”

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Twas the night before Christmas and all through the cave not a creature was stirring, where sleeping in front of a fire was a lady dragon master clutching a egg that looked just like a brightly colored ribbon or gift, hoping the fire's warmth would help it to hatch.  At midnight she woke thinking she heard the sound of bells ringing and when she looked down to check on the egg she found to her surprise a small female Christmas dragon looking up at her with deep golden eyes.  Kat's Little Natalie is what she is named which means Christmas or born on Christmas Day.  Natalie is a adult now and is a cheerful and happy Christmas dragon and can't wait for next year to be able to spread Christmas cheer to all.
