Magi Dragons are, as their name suggests, primarily magic users. They rarely use physical forms of attack. They eat anything they can kill, which is almost everything. They won’t kill unprovoked except when hunting, although they may kill humans if in danger. Their strong magic makes them one of the most feared breeds of dragons.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

While his sisters, Incandescence and Churchill, are more closed off and hate showing off, Spellbound is a born thespian. His father, Starscape, is a performer and has been trying to get his children up on stage for years. So, it's easy to imagine how excited he is to have a son that actually wants this. Spellbound loves attention. He is certainly the weaker Magi in his unit, with Incandescence having leaps and bounds more potential than he does. So, to compensate, Spellbound has taken to singing and dancing, using what magic he has as a way of enhancing his shows. As proud as Starscape is of him, the two still manage to get in each others' way. Spellbound likes to do things his way, he enjoys experimenting for the sake of artistry. He can be very pretentious and in his own head, believing himself some avant garde expert when he really isn't, and Starscape often fights with him over it. Even so, the two never stop loving and supporting one another, even when their visions rarely align.
