Antarean Dragons are peaceful creatures shrouded in mystery. They are primarily found in the desert where they get most of their energy from sunbathing. Their most notable traits are their highly reflective manes and the mysterious light emitted by their scales which fades from bright, nearly blinding yellow-white into dim red as the dragons get older. Legend claims that they are otherworldly beings that came to this world when a meteor struck.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Winglimmer is really quite lazy. While she does do all of her daily duties, like catching her share of food for the pile and tending to the hatchlings when it's her turn, she spends every spare second she has available outside in the sun, bathing in its glow. She has more or less claimed one specific spot in a forest nearby, in a clearing open to the bright sun. She has an odd fondness for ceramic gnomes, and has amassed a collection of over fifty already, which border her clearing. None of the other dragons in the cave know where she gets these, not even her owner. They all have their theories, though...
