Seasonal Dragons take on the characteristics of the season during which they are born. Thus, eggs that are laid in spring match the pink flowers and green buds of spring, and those that are laid in the summer grow to depict the bright green of the forest trees and the yellow of the sun. Eggs laid in autumn display the bright colors of leaves falling from trees, and those that are laid during winter take on the appearance of the icy snow.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Behold.

The foiler of many an intrigue.

Ilyarnis, affectionately nicknamed Yarn or unaffectionately nicknamed other things, is no stranger to gossip and plotting but has a deserved reputation for openness. With all due respect to Filari, political drama is for lesser minds and humans. She is not as brusque as Ainuri and uses less threats. But this only means little warning to enemies before their deaths by ice and tooth.

She is also a devoted mate and mother. Some find the image of her snuggling with a Daydream dragon heartwarming and somewhat jarring at the same time. Doubly so when she teases Ainuri and the Magi enjoys it instead of being irritable as usual. While there were relatively few if any conflicts between Levarias and Ainuri, it was and is still common for her to play mediator. A common misconception by outsiders is that Yarn is the actual leader, not Leva or Filari. In truth, despite being the second oldest she is more content to enforce.
