Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Socell is a black dragon. He is an amazing aerial fighter- capable of twists and turns, dodges and attacks that few others can copy. Despite black dragons' natural magical abilities, Socell is not that good of a magician. His spells mostly involve fire, lighting up the night as he fights to defend his lair in the middle of a large rain forest. His lair is a rocky dune that rises above the trees. He has the insides dug out into a nice home, where he can easily escape in multiple directions if needed. Socell is kind of cocky, but takes his fighting seriously. He doesn't like to be around others a whole lot, preferring to be alone.
