White Dragons are pacifists and specialize in extremely strong healing magic. The only limit of this magic is that it can’t bring back the dead. They only eat plants and never kill living things.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Jirtai was brought to the Goldenmage Assembly as a backup healer so that the usual white dragon healer could enjoy a well-earned holiday. Quickly overwhelmed by the sheer amount of orange surrounding him, he sought out the few other non-magis. Jirtai would have been too shy to even talk to an arcana under more normal circumstances, but he and Auabar quickly bonded. When the primary healer returned, Jirtai stayed on at the Goldenmage Assembly, finding that he didn't mind the orange so much as long as he had Auabar with him.
