Spitfires are a desert breed of dragon. Their dull brown bodies contrast with their brilliant turquoise markings, and they only blaze brighter when these dragons fight. Spitfires are notorious for their territorial natures, and the wing-edges of most are ripped and tattered before their first year is out. Spitfires are also noteworthy for their brilliant blue fire, which is used not for hunting or fighting, but rather for making glass caves from the sand, in which the dragons can soak up the sun.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Gryffin is a rather hostile dragon, as most Spitfires are.  She tends to enjoy brawling with other wild dragons that stumble into her path while she takes her walks during the day.

As the first dragon of her owner, Mikki, she could never really control her well.  Her strong nature often overpowered her, and she never really got a handle on her as a hatchling and a young adult.

Now, she is more sentimental towards her owner, but still quite a handful.  She often picks on the young hatchlings around her, but usually does it to help them become tougher and better fighters as adults. Because, deep down and despite her brawling, Gryffin has a soft spot for young dragons.
