Shimmer-scale Dragons are a very beautiful breed with small—but highly reflective—scales that shimmer and shine as the dragon moves through water. They don’t have fins or webbed feet, but their long, eel-like bodies allow them to swim quite fast. They were once rumored to carry large pearls in their claws—causing many to seek them out in search of this fabulous treasure. In reality, the “pearl” is of greater value to the dragon, for the fabled treasure is actually an egg carried by a migrating female.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Akumatora is the matriarch of the Tora Clan Bronze Shimmer-scales. She is second to Taiyoutora, the leader and creator of the Tora Clan. Akumatora hatched and grew up alongside Taiyoutora and Kazetora, Golden Shimmer and Silver Shimmer respectively, and when the Gold Prize Dragon asked her to join the Clan, she accepted.

Unlike Taiyoutora, Akumatora was not forced out of her egg early, and thus did not have "tiger stripes". She merely adopted the name, which translates to "Demon Tiger".

As such, Akuma (as she is more commonly known) is disgruntled and cantankerous. She may remain loyal to her friend, but she has no problem loudly voicing her dislike of any decisions made without her consent.

Akuma is abrupt and insensitive. While she does provide good judgment she is quite curt with it, callously insulting whomever she's giving advice to. She's not even sure why dragons come to her, but they do, and in order to get them to leave she simply gives them what they want.
