Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. Electric yellow scales shimmer brightly across its belly, and an even brighter spark adorns its tail.

And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

ElectricalStorm is a lazy Electric Dragon. He often skips out on playing hatchling games, to rest in the shade and watch them. He takes frequent long naps. When he naps, the electric charge climbs like a Jacob's Ladder up his back. Sometimes his parents collect energy from ElectricalStorm while he sleeps, to power the jar lights they helped invent. At night, ElectricalStorm uses one of the jar lights as a night light. He is afraid of the dark, as unlikely as that seems.
