Feisty and energetic, Whiptail Dragons pride themselves on their speed and agility. It is not unusual to see several whiptails racing each other. Though fragile, they can easily evade attacks with their superior speed, and often use their long tails as a weapon, giving rise to their name.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Levinni is one of the fastest dragons even in her breed in her clan, though she seems to prefer the ground to the sky and enjoys racing any flying dragons she comes across on foot. She can be very competitive and slightly ill-tempered, especially if she loses, and is the least tolerant of Capriccio's pranks. She has even whipped him in mid-retreat numerous times and therefore rarely receives a trinket from him in apology, though he seems most fond of pranking her since she's grown due to the increased danger she presents.
