Vampire Dragons are members of the undead. They sustain themselves by drinking the blood of others. It is said that they are only “alive” at night, and seem dead or asleep during the day, as they cannot endure sunlight for long periods of time. Vampire Dragons can only reproduce by changing the eggs of other dragons, puncturing the shell with their fangs and injecting venom that kills the baby inside.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Sahqon faal Vul Sosnaak, whose name translates to "Crimson the Dark Vampire" is a seclusive dragon that prefers to keep to himself. He is often called "Klur Fiit" which translates to "Egg Biter" by other dragons. He has no interest in reproducing and thus shows little interest in eggs, but this doesn't stop other dragons from worrying about their clutches.

Sahqon is very antisocial and gets agitated easily, especially when he is trying to sleep during the day and someone bothers him. The only time Sahqon will WILLINGLY mingle with other dragons is when he is searching for prey, at other times when he is made to interact with other dragons, he will either refuse or begrudgingly play along until he can leave.

There are SOME dragons that Sahqon is friends with, which are often the ones dragging him out to meet other dragons. To those he is friends with, he will only bite if given permission and is very polite and kind. But to others he won't ask before feeding and is often rather rude.
