Skywing Dragons spend most of their lives flying in the air. They hunt from the air, diving at prey from above, and land only to rest. They are some of the fastest fliers, capable of extremely high speeds. The webbing at the end of the tail acts as a rudder, allowing them to easily change direction during flight.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

This beautiful dragon was once the fastest in all the land. No Skywing could match her speed, nor soar as high as she could. This in turn prevented her from finding a proper mate. None could see it, but as she flew higher and higher, she sobbed uncontrollably at the thought of never having a hatchling all her own. One day she flew high into the mountains, higher then the clouds and past the birds, and perched for the very first time on the solid ground to release some tension. And it is there she met Tom--The love of her life. He was relaxing in the cavern behind when she come forth and immediately started to vibrate his wings and click as their eyes met. Since then the two have been inseparable and go everywhere together. She has slowed down for his sake considering his left wing is crippled, and only regrets abandoning her second egg "Suooy" when the group was far too overburdened with little ones. But Nelly loves her family, and will slow down as much as it takes to protect them.
