Magi Dragons are, as their name suggests, primarily magic users. They rarely use physical forms of attack. They eat anything they can kill, which is almost everything. They won’t kill unprovoked except when hunting, although they may kill humans if in danger. Their strong magic makes them one of the most feared breeds of dragons.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Being a Magi separated from her parents before maturity, Jasmine grew fond of a dragon with the same problem: the Magi, Lysander. She appears to have ancestors from a place called Delirium's academy, just as Lysander does, though she takes less interest in what this mysterious place actually is. This is likely due to her being separated as an egg, rather than Lysander, who was separated as a hatchling. She is quite proud of her personal power in the art of illusions, and making things seem as they really aren't. She first met Lysander when she helped a zombie dragon's evil deeds with her illusions, only to be tricked, captured and imprisoned by the dragon himself. Just as she and the other dragons that had fallen prey to the duo abandoned all hope of escaping, the other Magi appeared. Sneaking past the zombie in its deep slumber, Lysander successfully opened the cave prison with his powerful telekinesis. Thanks to the brave rescue, Jasmine immediately fell for her savior.
