Green Dragons are also sometimes called “earth” dragons. They usually live deep within caves, and have power over the earth. They are capable of launching boulders at high speeds, and can cause earthquakes by slamming down onto the ground.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Yelling is the angry grandmother of the clan. She oversees the practical tuition of the hatchlings with an iron claw, and is quite prepared to angrily roar at any dragon who tries to interfere with her plans. All of the adult dragons have learned to fear her swatting tail and venomous tongue, and every young dragon has their own story of that one time when Ol' Yelling caught them in a bad position and gave them the thrashing of their life. Nevertheless, her strict efficiency gets the job done, and no catastrophes have ever occurred under her watch.
