Holiday dragons are a very mysterious breed. They are only seen during winter, and even then it is hard to catch a glimpse of one. They are responsible for the general cheer that spreads during the holidays. In essence, they are the “Spirits of Winter.”

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Haukeana, her name a derivative of a hawaiian word meaning 'snow', was stolen from the main cave on Christmas Day as the first egg of the fourth clutch. She is snow white with vivid green and red bands on her tail, legs, and horns. Her wings are white with golden stripes. Haukeana is often seen with her twin sister and hatch-mate, Fannara. Haukeana enjoys flying about, spreading christmas cheer across the land for both dragons and humans, not even caring whether is is Christmas or not. She is very shy, however, and hides herself whenever there is a chance that someone may catch a glimpse of her. Sweet and caring, Haukeana loves the season of giving and always is there to spread the cheer. The dragons in the cave enjoy her presence, and the hatchlings are often found around her, listening to one of her classic Christmas stories she has heard on her travels.
