Feisty and energetic, Whiptail Dragons pride themselves on their speed and agility. It is not unusual to see several whiptails racing each other. Though fragile, they can easily evade attacks with their superior speed, and often use their long tails as a weapon, giving rise to their name.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Hauken is unpredictable and energetic. He is unable to focus on one thing for very long unless it is very important to him. Hauken constantly switches from task to task and is indecisive. His favorite thing in the world is to race, and he prefers running to flying. Hauken is a kind soul and when he's not racing from place to place, he's striking up conversations with strangers or trying to help someone.
