Royal Blue dragons are a nocturnal breed who prefer to live high in the mountains near slow-moving water that reflects the night sky. Although quite capable of defending themselves, they are peaceful by nature and will avoid a fight whenever possible.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Manfred is an old, prideful creature, prone to occasional bouts of pettiness when things do not go perfectly to its liking. Despite this self-centered attitude, though, it is still a wise and powerful being whose skill should not be taken lightly; it has never once lost a fight in its many centuries of living, and takes much satisfaction in admiring its nearly-pristine coat of scales.

Its sense of pride does not only extend to its own achievements. It has a large soft spot in its heart for its family-- though it might appear cold and distant at first, it truly does love them dearly.
