Feisty and energetic, Whiptail Dragons pride themselves on their speed and agility. It is not unusual to see several whiptails racing each other. Though fragile, they can easily evade attacks with their superior speed, and often use their long tails as a weapon, giving rise to their name.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

As the previous Clan Moonfang Leader, Aridessa sports many brilliant leader-like qualities. Her ability to grasp a situation and handle it is greatly envied throughout her clan. As the first egg of the Clan Rider, Draconica, Aridessa is the eldest dragon and the second most wise. She has seen the many dragons of her clan be born as eggs, hatch into helpless hatchlings and rise to be great drakes and she-dragons. Though Aridessa is not without her own hatchling. Mated with the Seasonal Dragon, Sumarryk, Aridessa has laid only one egg: Natsuvin, another Seasonal Dragon. She is not the motherly type however and prefers her rank of Elder and Advisor to the Leader.
