Hellfire Wyverns are so named for their foul tempers and fiery visages. Their social structure places all females above all males, due to superior physical characteristics and violent dispositions. Forced subservience of the males causes them to become vicious, petty, antisocial, and passive-aggressive compared to the aggressive and social females. However, orphaned hatchlings raised by foster parents of another species can develop surprisingly even tempers and mellow dispositions, proving that their defining unpleasant nature is, in fact, a learned behavior.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Valbach was a pretty normal Wyvern growing up, at least by her caretaker's perspective. She got along well with the other dragons with only a few spats between the more... aggressive breeds. There are some flashes of the Hellfire attitude, especially when confronted by complete and utter idiots (by her standards), but she knows when to quit. She likes to make little knick-knacks for everyday things. She says it's a way to keep her occupied.

She absolutely loathes Dreary-Deary, for reasons only she and Scribbiesan know.

Val is the no-nonsense kind of dragon, preferring to get the job done right then and there and hates taking breaks or goofing off. She sees it as a waste of time and energy. She won't hesitate to jump anyone who slacks off when helping her with a project. She will take some time out of her day to relax but only with the few dragons she truly tolerates, such as Theldri, Hadriel Yos, Dolmi Crow, Vriocori, and the Sync City dragons.

Her favorite snack is jalapeno peppers.
