Nebula Dragons are nocturnal creatures. With the best eyesight to be found, they are often seen staring into space. Each dragon tends to observe a particular nebula and will eventually change their colors and patterns to match it. As the nebula changes over time, the dragon changes with it. The more intricate the design of the nebula, the better chance an individual has of attracting a mate. It is said that the markings on no two Nebula Dragons will be exactly the same.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Lyncis has long been known as one of the most bubbly dragons in the clan. He is an extreme optimist. Before becoming part of the Mexa group of clans, Lyncis was Ferox. He was born into a group of maybe ten other hatchlings who were just like him. His markings and even his name was so similar, he often got mixed up with his brothers. Tired of being a clone, he ran away and almost froze to death when Mexa found the young hatchling.

Afterwords, he was the one who always saw the bright side and one of the most flexible dragons in the clans. He has extensively studied pressure points and humanely euthanizes his prey before eating it. It always seems like he is impossible to make angry.

But then Sera found him.

He caught Sera's eyes with his bright markings and unusual skills. It wasn't long before she had such a hold on him other females couldn't even look his way without being incinerated. He doesn't feel brave enough to stand up to the possessive young mistress, but few are.
