White Dragons are pacifists and specialize in extremely strong healing magic. The only limit of this magic is that it can’t bring back the dead. They only eat plants and never kill living things.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Legend tells of a great healer, supposedly the best in the land, who lives in a dark cave overlooking a sea of eternal storm. Rain lashes out at the bleak outcrop of the cliff, and the only light comes from the terrifying displays of lightning that weave through the sky.

This healer was once revered, once called upon to heal dragons all among the land. He was rumored to be capable of anything, of healing any wound. But what they did not know was that there was one dragon he could not heal, one with such a destructive disease that there was no cure. He never told anyone, only watching as the dragon slowly withered, slowly crippled. He could only provide relief, only slow the destruction of the flesh, but he knew it was from the inside, slowly eating away. And eventually, that dragon retreated to a cave by the sea, where he sits to this day, awaiting his slow death. For the truth is that he is that dragon, the legendary healer, who could cure everyone, but alas, could not save himself.
