And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

As the first child that Evening Star Kokusho and Bladewing's Thrall were allowed to keep in the cave, Midnight Eveningstar has become incredibly spoiled. He was so spoiled that he asked the cave owner to freeze him, so that he might always live a carefree lifestyle. He never wants for food or attention, as both of his parents are willing to give both in copious amounts. He has always been very sociable and quickly became good friends with most of the frozen hatchlings, with Midnight's closest friend being Pipe Fox Spirit, who was born only a few centuries after him. He does not get along with Altair Sunlight, who feels Midnight Eveningstar's laid back attitude is not in keeping with their breed's warrior lifestyle.
