Royal Blue dragons are a nocturnal breed who prefer to live high in the mountains near slow-moving water that reflects the night sky. Although quite capable of defending themselves, they are peaceful by nature and will avoid a fight whenever possible.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Jade loves helping others and will offer hospitality to anyone who needs it. Nobody knows the story of her ancestry, but some of the hatchlings she keeps watch over say that she descended from tigers or owls. With each new generation, the stories change, but she wouldn't trade this life for anything. Not even if it meant finding her real family.
