Sunset Dragons are closely related to sunrise dragons. However, their behaviors differ greatly. Sunset Dragons generally live alone or in small packs. They are more active in the evening, hunting and performing all of their daily tasks as the sun sets.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Jelian is a beautiful dragon who works very hard to make sure she appears that way. Every day she spends a large portion of the early afternoon (when she awakes) preening herself in preparation for the upcoming day. No one is allowed to see her until she has finished her morning grooming. Afterwards, she will hunt and take part in Cave activities as much as any other Sunset dragon in the Cave does. She is, however, very careful of her appearance when doing so and will frequently take breaks to make sure she is still in top condition. In spite of her care for her appearance, Jelian is also very sweet and generous and will help anyone with anything, as long as it does not make her appear ungraceful or dirty.
