Falconiform Wyverns are normally shy creatures. However, when approached, they often feel threatened, and the flames along their bodies leap higher. Females tend to be smaller than males, though Falconiform Wyverns are typically rather large overall. They use their size to their advantage by hunting smaller dragons. The Falconiform’s graceful, swooping dives are said to resemble birds of prey. Falconiforms are largely solitary dragons that only meet in order to breed.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Alde is the black sheep of her family, and as a Falconiform in general. Rather than seclude herself from and avoid other dragons, she's more curious of them and often tries to get closer. Now, she is by no means sociable and will usually flee if she's directly confronted. She isn't very violent and tends to choose flight over fight in intense situations. That said, she is still a talented and graceful hunter. It can be surmised that she sees hunting and fighting as two very distinct things, hence why she treats them so differently. When approached and handled quietly, Alde can be legitamently sweet, if not a bit awkward. Part of that is because so many dragons are afraid of her breed and don't fully recognize her more peaceful nature. Living in the sanctuary, Alde is forbidden from killing other dragons, but she isn't too interested in the prospect anyway. Though a bit of a social mess, Alde is capable of making friends, though the strength of these bonds gets testy at times.
