Gold dragons are the ones most often killed by humans, who consider their scales to be extremely valuable. These golden scales grant them a high level of protection, similar to armor, and they use this to their advantage in battle.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Having inherited her temperament and nerve from her mother, Oracia does not fear leaving the safety of the main cave. She enjoys exploring the vast territory and is repeatedly seen by humans passing through the land. However, many have learned not to try and tackle Oracia, either alone or in groups. Her sharp teeth can give a nasty bite while a blow from her wings or tail can often prove fatal.
Her golden scales are coveted by a human blacksmith, who specializes in magical armour. He believes that these precious scales are necessary for his finest masterpiece and he frequently sends mercenaries into the territory and to their demise.
When these brave but doomed men find Oracia, she stands before them, growling, with the sunlight glistening off her golden bulk and readies herself for battle. Her final blow is always accompanied by a deafening roar that sends the birds soaring from the treetops as it echoes across the territory.
