Sophrosyne Dragons are a rare sight, typically making themselves known only to protect and heal the vulnerable. A visit from one serves as a reminder that kindness prevails, and that there’s always hope for positive change. While it is known that they possess the power to reverse botched spells, some claim they can even cure methodically-cast curses. This has never been formally documented, but these dragons have been seen arriving in the aftermath of violence, and the scars of tragedy seem to heal faster in their wake. The feathers of a Sophrosyne have thus become a symbol of perseverance and light in the face of darkness.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Mirero is a gentle and good-natured dragon. He is always willing to lend a wing to his colony. However, he is cold and wary of strangers and is unlikely to do the same for them as he would his kin. The only time he would even consider helping a stranger is for them to earn his trust, which is nearly impossible to do.

Other than that, he is a hard worker and enjoys playing with the hatchlings of his kind.
