Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Silver Leafe is in no way related to Bronze Leafe. The two just have similar names because their master wasn't feeling very creative at the time of Silver's arrival. He doesn't hold this against them, knowing that they are often too busy to think of a proper name for every single dragon they care for. He's actually hoping for a gold tinsel to come along, just to see if his master will keep with the naming 'tradition'.
