Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. Its eyes glow brightly at night, and it enjoys attacking insects and small animals.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Foster is the misfit of the clan because of her upbringing, which has not been a good one. One night, she was found near the cave entrance by Fayah and was brought to the clan in horrible condition. In fact, she was just barely clinging to life. In an attempt to save her, the clan dragons cast a spell over her that prevented her from ever growing up. As a result of this, Foster still acts like a child, even though she would be full-grown at this point in his life. She acts bitter towards the clan dragons for keeping her this way, and often disobeys their orders. But she does owe a great deal of gratitude to them, for without them, she would surely have died that night.
