Temple Wyrms are a calm, docile, and rather amiable breed. They are quite reclusive, and rarely seen, but when encountered, will often guide travelers through their territory safely, or even advise them to the best of their ability. They tend to take up residence in ruins of old human settlements, particularly temples, and this is where the name comes from: explorers discovering an old abandoned temple, and being surprised by the wyrm living there. They’re very intelligent, and their two heads work well together. Temple Wyrms are skilled with light magic, and decorate their homes with glowing motes of light to keep them illuminated at all times. These dragons have a very dangerous neurotoxic venom, but are so calm that they’re disinclined to bite except in self-defense.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Two-headed dragons are unique enough to deserve a separate classification from ordinary dragons. They have two necks, two brains, two mouths, but one stomach and one main body. The two heads usually work together, but there are times when they will fight each other, snapping back and forth. Their unique anatomy prevents them from breeding with single-headed dragons.
