Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It glows with some form of arcane energy.

And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Ketsi is a Generation Two hatchling. This means that she does not have a -name-, because she was born after the Royal Decree passed, which banned those kinds of names. Her owner originally wanted to name her Kitsu, for her kitten-like nature, but the name was already taken.

She was frozen by her owner as a sort of gift to her parents, Taika and Farvardin; Ketsi's owner made sure that she would never have to suffer from old age, and she would be able to play and frolic with her parents forever.

Ketsi is friendly and outgoing; all of the other hatchlings on the scrolls are her friends. Her favorite word is "squiggles," and she can be heard chanting it under her breath most of the time.

Because of her fascination with white dragons and their sticks, kind Melek lets Ketsi play with her stick sometimes. Ketsi calls it her "squiggle stick," and sometimes pokes other sick hatchlings and eggs, because she believes her stick has healing powers.
