Balloon Dragons are so named because they are filled with a gas that makes them almost lighter than air, similar to balloons. However, they are not prone to bursting, as they are covered in tough skin and can deflate themselves if necessary. In addition, they generally are slow moving. They use their gas bladders to float to the tops of trees, where food is more abundant. They can shift their weight from their backs to their fronts, allowing them to reach leaves and fruit.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Her name means "Affectionate" in Japanese. And she is indeed very affectionate, she loves to cuddle with anyone that will stay still long enough. She is one of the daughters of Tenryu and Maikaze. She loves her large family, and loves spending time with all of them. She had a fling with Yoshii that led to her son Kumo being hatched. However it was nothing more than a fling, and they both grew apart. She met her mate, Juro, when they were both foraging for fruit. The mangos on that tree were especially sweet, and she closed her eyes in pure bliss. Next thing she knew, she was muzzle to muzzle with Juro (who had also closed his eyes in pure bliss). They had a good laugh about it, and afterwards agreed on a date night. Afterwards they started courting, and then Juro asked her to be his life mate. They had a nice ceremony, and they look forward to spending their eternal lives together.
