Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Mad1022 was overjoyed when she discovered a Gold Tinsel Dragon egg in the brush. It glimmered and glistened in the moonlight, and another dragon owner tried to get the egg as well. Mad1022 called upon Vynce to cover her, then scooped up the egg and ran. She spent many days and nights stroking the gold egg, awed at the fact that she actually found a Gold Tinsel. When Dappled Gold hatched, the joy of a Tinsel filled the cave. With her, Dappled Gold brought joy and happiness. Her favorite time of the year is Christmas, though she is often quiet and shy. Her brilliant scales seem to give off a beautiful shine, especially in the sunlight.
