Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It’s extremely curious and seems to enjoy exploring the area around it.

And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Violet Purplesoul is a rescued hatchling that is sickly but very happy. She was brought to the cave by Song Amethyst, the leader of the cave, and was promptly adopted by the family. She loves her new family and gets along well with the other hatchlings, but must be monitered at all hours because of her sickness. She gets along best with Kyle Babe.
