Olive Dragons are a small, forest-dwelling breed, rarely growing much larger than the average sheep. When alarmed, they can erect a long row of venomous spines on their back, serving to warn any potential predators that Olives are not a good choice for a meal. While not strong enough to kill anything larger than a small deer, their venom causes an extremely painful reaction and necrosis at the bite site, sometimes causing the flesh to rot and limbs to fall off.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

This poor dragon, known as Ugly, was always made fun of by his peers as a hatchling. They whispered mean-spirited insults to him, suggesting that he really wound up in their clan's clutch of eggs by mistake. This couldn't be disproved. Ugly never knew his parents, so for all he could tell, that was the case. Asking the elders was impossible as well; they never paid much attention to the hatchlings, preferring to let them figure things out on their own. So Ugly spent his time hiding from his fellow dragons.

Now that Ugly has grown up, he always sulks on the edges of the clan's territory. Though his grown-up peers have long since apologized for his cruel treatment, he can't quite bring himself to forgive them. His favorite activity now is to admire his scars from long ago, where he was kicked, nipped and laughed into submission. Indeed, this Olive dragon is one that is buried in past regrets, and he will likely never find a mate because of it.
