Magnesium Amphipteres are a rather violent species. They ruthlessly drive out anything that dares to trespass on their territory, and spend much of their time flying tirelessly in wide circles as they hunt and patrol their space. Often a single individual shows aggression between even its own two heads as they fight for food and control over their body. They are not social and will only come together to mate, after which the two dragons return to their own territory almost instantly. Magnesium Amphipteres are named for their flames: these dragons can breathe blindingly bright, powdery flame from both heads.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Two-headed dragons are unique enough to deserve a separate classification from ordinary dragons. They have two necks, two brains, two mouths, but one stomach and one main body. The two heads usually work together, but there are times when they will fight each other, snapping back and forth. Their unique anatomy prevents them from breeding with single-headed dragons.

User Description

In the desert where Suna makes her home, there is a strange phenomenon where some of the trees that survive the heat and dryness have mana running through their branches. In the absence of water, some trees have begun drawing in liquid mana of various elements to supplement their growth. Suna is fiercely protective of these trees, which she regards as the hallmark of her territory. Her favorites have a little bit of fire mixed in with the life and water elements, and she is able to set these trees aflame without them burning down entirely. The fire mana will even hold the color of her brilliant flames, and will retain the hues until the mana is consumed. It is said that anyone who is close enough to see a tree wreathed in blinding white fire is in immediate danger, and they best turn back and flee before Suna attacks them for intruding.
