Sunrise Dragons are closely related to sunset dragons. However, their behaviors differ greatly. Sunrise Dragons prefer to live in large groups and enjoy basking in the early morning sun. They are usually most active in the morning, and go to sleep in the early evening.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. Fadal is actually very much interested in stones. He loves everything that has to do with the things that form beneath the surface of the earth. Anything from common river stones to gems and crystals catch his eye, and he loves decorating his cave with his finds. He has at least one sample of any kind of stone most could think of, and the few that he doesn't have, well, he will soon have. He takes off from the cave often, exploring mountains and volcano's to find new and interesting things. He also has a knack for making jewelry, so he often finds precious stones simply to make something beautiful out of them. Actually, many of the Turia clan have a piece of his work, whether it be a necklace or a sculpted gem.
