Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. Ever since it hatched, the sky has been full of very dark clouds.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Wolfstraum was lost, no one knows how, and was just barely saved from certain death by a pack of wolves. They picked it up and carried it to the nearest dragon cave, where it was nursed back to health by a White Dragon. It survived but never grew another inch. It isn't bothered, though; it was welcomed delightedly by Viima, another foundling who stopped growing, and the other Storm Dragons more than make up for the loss of its original family.
