Frostbite Dragons first appear at the beginning of winter, creeping in with the frosts. They have found their place in human lore as the spirits of snow, since they only reveal themselves during icy weather. In the depths of winter, they cover the world in blankets of snow and are believed to be responsible for the glittering frost that creeps over everything. Although they appear cold and distant, they are actually rather mischievous and enjoy spending time dancing through blizzards.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Frost-Goata has an unusual position. Due to a contract she sealed with a mage once, she is responsible for the wellbeing of a village that is the center for the trade of ingredients for ice magic, potions, and spells. She protects the village from a distance, only ever appearing during the winter when the amount of snow triples, which prevents her from being seen. She is relatively calm, with the exception of one instant in which a Hellhorse dragon attempted to destroy the village in a fit of rage. It was a long battle, but she ultimately drove him off, however abandoned the duties of protecting the village in order to chase him down. This was after she recognized the dragon as the one the villagers passed around in rumors from travelers of the "fiery horse-serpent," responsible for the destruction of many villages. If the town is destroyed while she is gone, she will die due to that being part of the contract with the mage.
