Cheese Dragons are not actually alive. They are enchanted items of food that act almost identically to dragons. They have no need to eat, but they must “live” in humid environments or they will dry out and harden.

Mimole is a dragon who is afraid humans and of crackers because, with cheese, crackers are a favorite snack of humans. Whenever humans are around, Mimole hides in the cave to avoid being eaten. Mimole has learned human tongues so that, when found, the dragon can tell people, "Beware, I am actually made of Limburger,"; in order to be rendered unpalatable.
