Striped Dragons come in a dazzling array of colors complemented by an intricate pattern of stripes. These bright colors and patterns help attract their favorite food, insects. Because their prey is so tiny, striped dragons must spend a large portion of their day eating. The color of the offspring is usually determined by the dragon’s mate.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Jazfem belongs to a very special elite troop of dragons within the clan. After overhearing the threats of another human to kidnap the human caretaker's Beloved, Dimar, they decided to form a personal guard and strike force, protecting Dimar whenever she was visiting and ready to venture forth and attack and destroy anyone who would dare to touch her when she was elsewhere.

Despite his rather diminutive size (for a dragon), he is the best fighter among the group and is quick to attack any potential danger to Dimar. The only one safe from his protective bullrush attacks is in fact the human Herk herself. Jazfem has attacked dangerous animals, unknown humans, and on one or two occasions even members of his own clan (before recognizing them) with a fearsome cry and a head to the solar plexus. And although his attack on Kilimanjaro resulted in nothing but a giant headache for himself, Jazfem won't stop in his vigilance.
