Dark green dragons, once they mature, appear to become an entirely different species. However, this isn’t true. Rather, they burrow underground and get nutrients from their vines. These vines are sometimes referred to as Dragon Grass. These dragons are very violent, and will use their vines to capture, kill, and eat anything that moves, as well as nearby plants. Luckily, their range is limited and they cannot use magic. Dark green dragons tend to be easy to spot since they usually kill all plants around them and thus are usually surrounded by a large clearing.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Kreotrevnia only burrows underground when she has to. She is very active for her species, and prefers to live above ground. Her vines move about in a whip like fashion, and have a mind of their own in a sense. They kill small prey when she's not looking, and they kill the vegetation that she sleeps near. The prefered method of getting rid of all other plants is uprooting them, then eating them through the flowers of the plant itself. Kreotrevnia, however, is more of a gentle soul. She won't attack unless provoked, and she doesn't know what her vines have done. She tries to make friends, and wonders why they run away screaming. She is very naive, and childish.
