Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. This hatchling seems to be filled with a fell, inner flame.

And look! Its wings have grown, and it’s become rather vicious and wary of others of its kind.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

One of the Firey Flame is a dragon that loves trickery. He will watch humans almost every day as they show their tricks and will try to do them to his fellow dragons much to their distaste. He often uses smoke and shadows to scare the younger hatchlings and small human children. But even with his love of trickery he is a very kind dragon despite being a hellfire and will help any dragon he can.
