Cornish Rock is so called that because she is a Cornish rock cross chicken, which is a cross between a Plymouth Rock and a Cornish Gamefowl. Being a breed that is raised for meat she is big and fat, topping the scales at a hefty twelve pounds! She spends most of her time pecking around for scraps of food dropped by the dragons she shares her cave with. The dragons put up with her constant chatter because she lets them eat the brown eggs she lays.
