Brute Dragons are among the larger dragon breeds. They prefer to live in solitude or small groups, nesting in high, mountainous regions. The only time they openly seek the company of others is during the mating season, when males will fight for the attention of females. The thunderous crash of Brute Dragons butting horns against each other in competition for mates can be heard nearly a mile away.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Charging Strength is a solitary, lazy hulk of a Brute Dragon who lives in a small cave nestled on a mountainside. The large, threatening dragon is very skilled in fighting, although he usually keeps to himself and hardly gets into any fights. His size intimidates hatchlings and young adult dragons as he thunders by lazily to find somewhere to nap if his cave is too far away. The only thing that can get Charging Strength rustled and alert is a friendly challenge that isn't meant to do harm. He may not actually fight too often despite his skill, but he does find himself enjoying friendly wrestling. Often, dragons who know him will approach him with horns or tails at the ready, flashing him a confident smirk. This gets Charging Strength leaping to his feet, wings flapping and horns pointed outwards. After a challenge, Charging Strength flops to the ground and naps like his usual lazy self.
