Sawtooth Dragons are stealthy hunters that have mastered the element of surprise to attack prey from both above and below. They are born and reside deep in the jungle, stalking swamps and hunting anything that moves until their wings are large enough to sustain them in flight, after which they leap into the air to soar through the treetops and dive at their unsuspecting victims. The Sawtooths’ long jaws are almost unrivaled in strength, with serrated teeth and a bite so powerful they can crush even large mammals—their primary food source.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

She is particularly ruthless and feral, to the point where she doesn't even speak, only growls. Puncture is a hunting savant. Even as an infant hatchling, she was capable of taking down prey much larger than herself, and she's only improved from there. She is completely merciless. About anything that ends up in her jaws only has seconds to live. She responds neither to reason nor compassion, not from from her victims, anyway. All that said, Puncture is far from an invincible killing machine. For starters, she is astoundingly stupid (at drake levels, in fact.) It is very easy to outsmart and trap her, since overpowering her is a wistful joke. She also refuses to leave swampy or moist environments. Dry heat hurts her too much. Puncture, despite her hardened appearance and demeanor, can actually be really affectionate with her family. They almost treat her like a pet, given her feral behavior. Just like her father, Alligator, Puncture will carry her siblings in her jaws to protect them.
