Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Bartimus D'Hennegel Thuwed, affectionately referred to as Barty by all who wish to not go insane from having to repeat that name, is the third-most and most gentlemanly tinsel in Pink's hoard. Like the other tinsels in his cave, it is his sole duty to provide certain of the worthy people on the mysterious world of DC that he lives on with his noble offspring.

He courted and won the companionship and love of the beautiful white dragoness named Sketch Dorkface Dusk Thuwed, whom he and all others call Sketch. His offspring, like himself, are extremely well bred and mannered youngsters. Not like those other hooligan tinsels that he lives with. He doesn't doesn't blame his caretaker for her poor luck in acquiring a silver tinsel with an incurable disease of the imagination, or a gold tinsel who's really an oversized carrot, but he certainly won't be introducing them to company anytime soon.
